Elbow

Tennis elbow, or lateral epicondylitis, is a painful condition of the elbow caused by overuse. Treatment is usually conservative with the condition rarely requiring surgical intervention.
A medial collateral ligament (MCL) injury is an uncommon injury to the elbow. Treatment for a MCL tear may include a physical therapy program or surgical intervention, depending on the severity of the injury.
Little League elbow is a condition that is caused by repetitive throwing motions, especially in children who play sports that involve an overhand throw. Treatments for Little League Elbow typically involve a closely monitored rehabilitation plan with surgery being reserved for only the most extreme cases.
Golfer’s Elbow is caused by repetitive motion of the wrist resulting in inflammation. Treatment is usually conservative with the condition rarely requiring surgical intervention.
An elbow dislocation occurs when the joint surfaces of an elbow are separated. Although an elbow dislocation is usually very obvious, an x-ray, physical examination, and CT scan or MRI may be used to determine the extent of the injury to plan the necessary course of treatment.
An elbow arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure in which the interior of the elbow joint is examined and treated using an arthroscope which is inserted into the joint through a small incision.
