Our physicians are contracted with a wide range of insurances including most Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Oklahoma, United Healthcare, Aetna, Cigna, and PHCS plans. Surprises happen. If you find yourself in need of a surgery without insurance, we have partnered with the Surgery Center of Oklahoma to provide our patients with all-inclusive, self-pay packages. Need financing? The Surgery Center can also discuss MedPlan Credit options.
We are located right off of I-35 on 2nd Street (Highway 66). You can find us on the north side of 2nd street across from Oklahoma Christian Elementary and Life Church’s Main Campus.
Although each of our doctors specialize in specific conditions and body parts, we can evaluate any orthopedic or podiatric condition. If your diagnosis doesn’t match the strengths of our doctors, we will help to get you to the best doctor for your condition.
Yes! All of our doctors at Orthopedic Solutions are board certified in their respective fields.
A referral is only required if your insurance requires it. If you are unsure if your insurance requires a referral, please call your insurance to check. Charges denied by insurance for lack of referral are the responsibility of the patient.
At your appointment, one of the clinical staff members will ask you about your injury or what brought you in. In most cases, x-rays are needed at your first appointment. You may be asked to change into a gown and/or shorts for your exam. For your comfort, you may choose instead to follow these recommendations (be mindful that there could be instances when you will be asked to wear a gown/shorts):
After your x-rays, a doctor will examine the injured body part and make recommendations or order further testing. If all necessary testing is complete and surgery is recommended, you will have an opportunity to go over preoperative paperwork and schedule surgery at your appointment.
The location of your surgery will depend on your condition and insurance. Our physicians work with a number of local hospitals and outpatient surgery centers. If you would like more information on where you surgery might take place, please feel free to call and speak with one of our staff members.
No. Orthopedic Solutions was started in 2004 by Dr. Kevin Hargrove, M.D., and remains independently owned. This means we can provide efficient and personalized care without the restraints of hospital bureaucracy.
Typically, new patients are scheduled within one to two weeks. However, all acute injuries or fractures will be seen the same or next day.
